Was very impressed with the whole experience. I had a 400km move out of the GTA area and Big Steel Box was the best option for the money. From setting up the move, to the drivers that delivered and picked up the box….great service all around. We even were able to keep and use the shipping box as storage for 3 months until the renovations on our new house was completed. No issues at all, just had to pay the additional monthly fees. Very impressed. Would recommend this company to anyone needing a shipping container for a move or short term storage.

Excellent customer service and delivery of exactly what I wanted. Big steel box on my driveway for the duration of renovations was both much cheaper, much more convenient and arguably more secure than alternatives such as self storage. Anything you find you need access to is right there. Would recommend and use in future myself.

Everything couldn’t have gone better, we moved from Ontario to Alberta and there were so many moving parts. The container was picked up and dropped off on schedule, and we received timely communication from all the CSRs. We saved thousands using Big Steel box, and would highly recommend :). My only wish is that the pick up and drop off window was a smaller timeframe, rather than 8-5, but overall, a fantastic experience:) Thank you to the whole team who helped us!

I used BigSteelBox to move this past December and I was pleasantly impressed with the service. At first I was a bit hesitant because other companies offering this service have more reviews etc. but the size of the container drew me to BigSteelBox. Putting in the order for the container was very easy and seamless. They called prior to delivery and the box was dropped off in minutes. The box itself was very clean, and the doors provided a nice seal (we had some terribly windy and rainy days during this time), with no water entering the box. When it came time to move my container again, very smooth with a call prior to coming. No items were damaged during the move, which made us happy because we were a bit concerned with the loading/unloading tilt that occurs, but everything was fine. One small knit is that when using their online estimator for the size of box we would need it was not adequate. We rented the 20' box and probably could have used another 10' box, and we were a small 3 bdrm house.

Wow! An incredibly positive moving experience in every way! We closed on our house before knowing where our next house would be, so BigSteelBox (BSB) provided us with estimates for our three most probable destination cities. Their pricing was very competitive so we went ahead and ordered a 20-foot container for our move. Once we were all packed BSB picked up the container and they stored it at their yard. When we eventually purchased our next home they delivered the container to our new address on the day we requested. We had many glass tables and glassware so I was expecting to lose one or two pieces .... not a single item was broken!! BSB quotes were firm and there were no 'surprise' costs added. We highly recommend this moving service.
